increasing physical activity
Our team of Health Trainers are here to help you to create long-term results through realistic adjustments in habits and behaviours.
Together, we can build a personalised plan that will support sustainable weight loss, whilst building your confidence and boosting fitness levels.
Small changes = big impact
Physical Activity is a great way to burn calories and has shown to increase endorphins which are great for our wellbeing.
The physical activity guidelines for adults are to get at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity per week

This could look like:

A 25-minute brisk walk every day of the week, using legs instead of the car by parking a little further away from your destination.
Playing sports with friends or part of a club once a week.
A 5 minute walk every 2 hours on the hour which would be great to break up your day and build a healthy lifestyle routine.
Joining in with one of our Wellbeing Walks.
Cycling or Swimming at a manageable steady pace for an hour 2 times a week.
Playing a walking sport such as walking football or walking netball twice per week.
Did you know ...?
Losing just 5% of your body weight can produce significant health benefits and reduce the risk of developing diseases like type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
