    Anyone living in Northumberland, aged 16 years or over, can access the Health Trainer Service.
  • Q. What does the Health Trainer Service do?
    The Health Trainer Service is here to help you make realistic lifestyle changes that are tailored to your needs. Health trainers provide personal one-to-one and group support with: healthy food choices, weight management, increasing physical activity, drinking less alcohol and stopping smoking.
  • Q. How much does it cost?
    Nothing at all. The Northumberland Health Trainer Service works with you to create a free personal health plan to help you to achieve and maintain your goals.
  • Q. How long will my health plan take?
    Health Trainer sessions involve creating a free personal health plan which will be developed over 6 to 12 sessions. This, for example, could be one session per week or scheduled at convenient times to fit around your commitments.
